Uptrend
It looks like the STI is forming an impulse wave with Subwaves i and ii (brown) formed and now forming Subwave iii (brown) (not labelled). If this is correct we should see the impulse wave continuing with a small corrective Subwave iv forming followed by a rising Subwave v. These subwaves will constitute Wave 1 of the impulse wave. Hopefully the dark clouds have cleared. However, you will notice that Wave C (brown) is too short compared with Waves A and B (brown). So it might be that Wave C has not ended and will continue sideways for some time.
